This guide outlines the process of account deletion on KIUNGOR, what happens to your data, and how to cancel a deletion request if needed. We are committed to providing you with full control over your data and ensuring transparency in our deletion process.

Account Deletion Process

How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your KIUNGOR account
2. Go to Account Settings
3. Navigate to Privacy & Security section
4. Click on "Delete Account"
5. Read through the implications of account deletion
6. Enter your password to confirm
7. Optionally provide feedback about your decision
8. Click "Confirm Deletion"

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

Data Retention Period

Our deletion process includes a grace period to protect your data from accidental deletion:

• Your account will be marked for deletion immediately
• There is a 14-day grace period before permanent deletion
• During this period, your account will be deactivated but recoverable
• After 14 days, all data will be permanently deleted
• Backup data may take up to 30 additional days to be completely purged

What Data May Be Retained

For legal and security purposes, we may retain certain information:

• Legal compliance records
• Security audit logs
• Transaction history (if any)
• Anonymized analytics data
• Content shared in public communities (anonymized)

Canceling Account Deletion

How to Cancel Deletion Request

If you change your mind during the 14-day grace period:

1. Log in to your account
2. You will see a banner notification about pending account deletion
3. Click "Cancel Deletion Request"
4. Confirm your decision
5. Your account will be immediately reactivated

After Cancellation

• All your data will be restored
• Your account will return to its normal active status
• No content will be lost if canceled within the grace period
• You can continue using your account as normal

Important Notes

• You can only cancel deletion during the 14-day grace period
• After the grace period expires, the deletion becomes permanent
• Once permanent deletion is complete, you cannot recover your account
• You will need to create a new account if you wish to use KIUNGOR again
